Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
ElfYourself is back for another year of holiday cheer. This time we have Jacob & the Wolf Pack and the Volturi dancing to some festive tunes. I have no idea why I get such a big kick from these, but hopefully others enjoy them too. Make your own at ElfYourself.

New Moon Inspired Poem
New Moon
I’m being ripped apart
My world is falling down
He left me
Because he was not happy
So now my heart is broken
The days pass by
Without seeing you
I wallow in pain
They see it in my eyes
I need him back
Before I die
But then something happened
I didn’t hurt as much
This boy from La Push
Is helping stitch me up
The months pass by
And I’m halfway heeled
But there will always be a hole
In what he didn’t want
But what’s this?
Alice is here!
I cry with cheer
That a Cullen is here
But something is wrong, I can see it in her eyes
Rosalie said something and Edward is going to die
Alice said there is not much time
I must make a dicition before the time dies
We rush to the airport
To save my true love
But what will happen
When the clock strucks twelve?
I rush through a crowd
In Volterra
The sun is high
Edward might die
I see him in the dark
Looking lifeless as I,
I tumble into him
And he says “Heaven”
I try to push him back
Into the dark
But then we see
Two men in black
Edward holds me tight to his back
A little girl comes
To lead us down under
It is cold and wet
But that doesn’t matter
I’m with him, Edward
For now but not forever
What will happen
When we get back
I saved his life
But he won’t want me back
The hole will get bigger
And time will pass
But I’ll always love him
When time passes
We’re on a plane
I saved him!
Now we’ll let fate dicide
Wheather or not
Our lives will be tied
But he stays
And asks for forgiveness
But is this a dream
Or is this real
He takes my hands
And kisses my forehead
I have an idea!
And we’re runnng in the forest
The Cullens vote for my immortality
Edward says no
Esme says yes
Rosalie says no
But wait
Let me explain
I would not have chosen this life for me
I’ll give you a chance
To have pure glee
Jasper says yes
Emmett says “Hell, yeah!”
And Carlisle has the diciding vote
He votes yes
I thank them for their time
And say “let’s take it out back”
Edward says “NO!”
With a protective stance
Carlisle says “after gradulation”
And Edward agrees
He takes me home
For maybe
The rest of eternity.
Anna and Taylor in Moviefone’s 10 Breakout Stars of 2009 list
Anna Kendrick has a lot going for her. She co-stars in that hit film series ‘Twilight,’ and just snagged a National Board of Review prize for her naively overconfident, quick-witted turn as a newbie firing-agent in Jason Reitman’s ‘Up in the Air.’ At only 24, Kendrick has proved to be a mighty talent in both comedy and drama, garnering a heap of Oscar buzz going toe-to-toe with George Clooney in ‘Air.’
Next Up: Edgar Wright’s ‘Scott Pilgrim vs. the World’ and, of course, reprising her role as Jessica in ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.’
1. Taylor Lautner
Royally buffing up as the shapeshifting werewolf Jacob Black in the sequel ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon,’ Taylor Lautner redefines teenage hunk in his breakout role. Graduating from Bella’s long-haired admirer in the first film, Lautner is able to flex his muscles, quite literally, with a much larger, brooding part in the second vampire flick. There is a reason why Taylor beat out the rest of the notable names on this list for the top spot: sheer box office brawn. The Twihards have spoken: Team Jacob all the way — well, for now at least.

Kissing Edward Ban?
Apparently kissing your favorite vampire could be bad for you. A theater actually put up a “No Kissing” sign by their Edward stand up. So many fans were giving him a kiss or hug they created the ban to possibly prevent the spread of illness. I’m sure most fans think a kiss from Edward is worth the risk. Read the whole story here.

New Moon has made more than a half billion dollars worldwide
After this weekend, the official numbers are in, and after its third weekend in theaters, New Moon has surpassed the $500,000 mark. $570.1M to be exact!
The Twilight Saga :New Moon finished second in its third weekend, taking in an estimated $15.704M from 4124 locations with a per theater average of $3,808. This increases the film’s domestic cumulative total to $255.64M through its first 17 days of release. New Moon also took in an estimated $40.7M in foreign markets for an international total of $314.5M and a worldwide cumulative total of $570.1M.
It needs only $2.1M more to pass Star Trek’s $257.73M and make the top 5 domestic for 2009. Note that all the films in the top 5 opened in May-July. $21.62M will move New Moon past The Hangover into fourth place. $37.26M will move New Moon past Up into third place for the year. $46.36M will surpass Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince to become the #2 film of 2009. At $15M per weekend it can easily finish second for the year.

Plagiarism suit against Stephenie Dismissed
Author Jordan Scott claimed Stephenie Meyer plagiarized parts of her Breaking Dawn book from Scott’s book The Nocturne. Well the case has been dismissed.
Meyer’s publisher, Hachette Book Group, released the following statement:
“In his ruling, [Judge Otis D. Wright II] stated that the two works have little in common and that the ‘characters in the two works are vastly different.’ The decision admonishes Scott for ‘the deceptive presentation of the alleged similarities’ and notes that she ‘has twice manipulated aspects of the subject works in order to create the appearance of similarity.’ While an attempt to ride on someone else’s success may not be surprising, it is encouraging that the courts and the public are not so easily misled. This judgment confirms what we have known all along — Breaking Dawn is a wholly original work by Stephenie Meyer and this was a frivolous lawsuit brought for the purposes of publicizing the plaintiff’s personal publishing aspirations. Hachette Book Group and Stephenie Meyer are pleased to be able to put this case behind us.”
Well duh!!! We all know Stephenie didn’t plagiarize!!

Robert Interview
MTV has another article on Robert Pattinson. He talks about other movies he is working on.
Here is an excerpt:
Rob said he was eager to play the “Unbound Captives” role because it’s unlike anything he’s done before. “I’m playing a kid who was kidnapped by Comanche [warriors] when he was 4 years old. And he was brought up by them, and then his mother spends her entire life trying to find me and my sister,” he said of Weisz’s vengeful-mom role. “When she finds us, we can’t remember who she is and can’t remember anything about the Western culture which she grew up in.
“It’s like, you can’t really be more different from Edward,” he added. “I actually signed on to that after I’d done ‘Twilight,’ in the summer after I’d finished [shooting]. It was really before anything had happened [to make me famous]. I wasn’t even really thinking about it.
“It’s just a cool script,” Pattinson said of the film, drawing comparisons to the classic final movie featuring the star he is most often compared to: James Dean. “It reminds me in a lot of ways of ‘Giant,’ which is one of my favorite movies. So I think that’s why I responded to it.”

Robert Pattinson One of the Top AOL Searches of 2009
Although it will be getting a face-lift in 2010, American Idol was the most searched TV show of 2009. Wonder if Ellen DeGeneres can make that happen again in 2010.
Twilight may be the number one movie searched in 2009, but its leading man didn’t quite make it to the top spot. MJ beat out R-Pattz as the most searched celebrity for 2009. Don’t feel too bad Rob, he is the king after all! At least Jon and Kate Gosselin weren’t even close!
AOL’s top searched celebrities for 2009
1. Michael Jackson
2. Robert Pattinson
3. Rihanna
4. Farrah Fawcett
5. Kim Kardashian
6. Megan Fox
7. Jon and Kate
8. Miley Cyrus
9. Patrick Swayze
10. Natasha Richardson
